First Progress Report

IDT blog, start date November 14, 2015. I have entered the rough draft zone. Several days after receiving our assignment I embarked on this final project journey to create a learning activity using Web 2.0 technology. I have spent time exploring general goals and specific learning objectives. The talktodepaw anthropological field team has been studying the student characteristics and the logistics officer has analyzed the required materials including Web 2.0 tools or sites. IDT 516 Module 5 Final Project Proposal

Module 5 Final Project Proposal

Putting together ideas for a learning activity that incorporated at least one Web 2.0 technology was not difficult, however, having to deliver this new activity to a group of learners given the time frame proved a bit more challenging. To follow is the initial proposal for my final project:

• Title of the Activity – Integrative Project

• Concept / Topic for your Learners - Participation in, contribution to and evidence of immersion in the veterinary assistant course is required. This involves the sharing of knowledge and exchange of ideas through the integrative project and the classroom experience of presentation. The key to this project is the relevancy to professional practice; or how students will apply what they have learned to be a great veterinary assistant.

• General Goal - Develop the technological skills to prepare and successfully thrive in our highly competitive global society and foster respectful relationships with peers.

• Specific Learning Outcomes - Master project planning, public speaking and time management skills. Demonstrate a working knowledge of veterinary medical terminology.
